NEW VIDEO - Planet Creature

Just finished a "Sword and Sandal" epic for Toronto garage rock wizzards Planet Creature. For me this video is the next chapter in me wrapping my head around a style I've been working at combining old school cel animation techniques with modern motion graphics software. It's been interesting trying to figure out when to hand paint and draw images, when it is best to just google and trace with a tablet or steal a photo of one your friends off facebook to make a big ugly Ogre out of. It's a great song and I'm happy to have been able to enjoy a free reign come up with something for it.
